Year 2 Level Camp at St. John's Island
Time Out! DHS's students are looking and behaving way too weird, just not their normal studying nerdy way.... Guess why? 'Cos Level Camp's just over. I mean everyone got sun burnt and stuff. People are still in that level camp mood going "I say 'what the' you say 'mook'" kinda thing. Haha teachers are having a headache controlling us all. Level camp made me realise many things. One of the major things is that I kinda really didn't notice that my family and class (Kezo) is so IMPORTANT to me!! So stupid of me to take me that long, especially about the class. Yeah I'm kinda not very close with everyone in the class but seriously I missed the petty fights between the girls, the class's sarcasm, lesbian acts........I mean all these seem pretty normal to me but then I realised how all these became a part of my life, part of me...

Which doesn't mean that I totally hate my time at level camp without my classmates. In fact it was great - better than last year's. I was in group 4 and i was stuck with completely unfamilar faces except Renee. Yeah evil... we were all split up and I didn't even have a single Kezopian with me.... Haiz.... Cherie was my instructor. She's kawaii and she has the PASSION for these kinds of camps, which made her so enthu. Duh! The moment I arrived I was greeted by tons of mosquitos that were VISIBLE!!! Never thought that I could see a mosquito's wings that clearly.... Argh. But putting insect repellant helped and I even hung a mosquito coil like Cherie around my bag for subsequent days. Someone thought that my bag was on fire when she saw smoke emitting from my butt.... hahas :P First up was Amusing Race where we went around the island exploring and completing station activities. Then at night there was Kidnapped. Next day was raining so it was camp-fire prep. 3rd day -> gladiator, water rafting and multi-level Captain's Ball.

Basically I loved Level camp, I mean I met so many people whom I didn't even know that they existed. And realised how great they were!!! It was a really good experience I guess :D

It's been a long time since I blogged... I know people are sick of looking at the same posts, listening to the same songs, staring at the same blogskin, but I'm really busy these days!!! Ahh so sorry everyone!!! :D anyways I think home econs is really fun and it's quite sad that Dunman High doesn't havent the facilities needed for that. On last Friday, for our CIP, my classmates and I went to the Community Centre at Ang Mo Kio, where we learned to cook sesame chicken from an elderly lady. Oh My Gosh the experience is like, totally unforgetable! First, we were supposed to 处理 the chicken. Ok i have to confess I totally couldn't do it... Hui Wen was so brave lor she dared to cut off the head, put her hand in and pull out the guts, and cut off the butt... lol. But I liked chopping the chicken. I tried to do it SKILLFULLY like the auntie but I couldn't cut the bones so i just whacked around until the chicken was chopped???? Lol ok then marinate was super fun!!! We put lots (in fact too much) sesame oil so end up it was a bit salty! But never mind it wasn't that bad. Then came the chopping of the vegetables and stuff.... The ONIONS!!! Onions are devils!!! My eyes went red and I had a hard time focusing. Many of my friends though I was crying.... Sians the eyes of others didn't got that bad.... At the end all our dishes were judged. I am so ASHAMED to say that the guys group cooked the best!!!!! Ahhhhh, so embarrassing! :P so Funny.... Also, we presented to the lady two mugs and 22 hearts to her in a gift box to thank her!!! that's all!! I really like the cooking thingy, even though I SUCK at it! :D
