There was band practice as usual, yesterday. Band started at 12.45 and we were released at about 12.25. Hardly enough time for me to walk all the way from the Block B classrooms to the band room, then to the canteen, and back again. But I rather eat a little bit and starve all the way then be late sial If not, it would be so “pai seh”! :P Anyway, I really need to improve on my playing. I mean, Ching Ee came in June and Tsu Shuan in December but they are all now playing like pros. Haiz I just cannot play the saxophone so well. Still remember indoor test that time I brought home my instrument every Monday and Saturday to practice but sill get Merit only. I feel so sad sia. It’s like no matter how hard I try I will never be able to make it. L Which does not meant that I will give up la. I simply will NOT just walk away in defeat!!! Still, I really love my Sec 2 section mates! They never fail to make me laugh on my moodiest days! Maybe they never will notice that… Oh yeah and the sec 1 girl, Cassandra came in for full band today. Heard she learnt to play the saxophone already. Could not blow anything but she could do more than half of the fingering. Maybe the instrument is too hard for her to blow? I dunno but hopefully the problem is solved in the next SP. She’s kinda quite.. hopefully I dun seem so scary to her. Which reminds me that I am really scared of most seniors, especially the Yr 4 and older. Seems like there is a kind of shield between us. Maybe I should take more initiative and just knock the shield down but would I succeed? During SP, I just suddenly realised that I don’t really know much about the Yr 4s, and they are leaving soon! But there is hardly any opportunity since our section does not interact during SP or full band. Even with outings it might always be the case that the Year 4s will stick with the Yr 4s etc.
Actually all seniors are quite nice la, just that … Maybe it’s because I never had any seniors in my entire life since I am the pioneer batch from my primary school.
When I was the vice-head prefect in my primary school I always scared the naughty guys, probably because I am the fiercest prefect when it comes to discipline. Lol, but AUTHORITY does not = to RESPECT!! That’s something I learnt being in DHS council. I really wish I knew this earlier!!!
